Kamikaze pitched 6 inn, 8 K, and got the win. That performance gave me two more points in our match-up Nootch! :lol:
5-1 is nice, but I won't take much from the series against Washington. I'll be excited if they can take 2 out of 3 from Florida.
yeah, it took a week or so, but the wheels are off. The bullpen is the worst in baseball outside of Soriano and Gonzales.
I guess the Nats caught notice after sending 5 people down to the minors in 1 day. After blowing 3 straight games in the bottom of the 9th, the Braves have run into back-to-back (gasp) quality starts and no blown saves!!! I've got my broom out tonight's game (can't say that too often). So now the Nats look to add to their longest winning streak of the season...... 2!
i thought hanrahan was going to at least allow them to tie and likely lose. runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs up 1 in the 9th then he gets 3 consecutive outs with no runs.
