For real. And I liked the old T-Birds better.

I also liked the old Mercury Cougars better. If I had a million dollars, I would own only three vehicles; a Chevy truck, a classic El Camino (somewhere between 1966-72), and a late 90's Mercury Cougar. For some reason, I love those cars. The new ones suck.

There is a guy who lives in my subdivision who has an old T Bird with the porthole in the window. I think its a 56 or a 57. I haven't really liked the T Birds since then until the new one came out. I have owned 2 T Birds, a 77 and an 86 but I didn't buy them because I liked the way they looked. I bought them both used because I needed a car and the price was right.

Pontiac is coming out with a GTO but it won't look anything like the old ones. I would love to have a restored 67 GTO.

I never really liked the way the PT Cruiser looked but they have a new PT Cruiser convertable that looks pretty cool.

I absolutely can't believe you don't like the way the PT Cruiser looks, lol.

I love it and the wife and I took our 3 year old to a car show at the convention center here about 2 weeks ago and he absolutely loved it. :D

I didn't say I hated it. And I do like the way the convertable looks. The original design was just a little too obvious in trying to capture the "retro" look. With the features it has it would make a good tailgate car if you lived here and were able to use it to tailgate at LSU games.

We saw the convertible ones at the car show, they have one in 2 tone, the sides were silver and the top was black if I remember correctly.
LOL, Maybe I'll look to get 1 in purple and gold.
Wouldn't that be a sight?

i am not a big car guy. if you want to be cool you ride a motorcycle.

however, when i was 16 my mom bough a 1977 mgb. it was the coolest thing. so tiny, lots of fun. chicks loved it. too bad i totalled it on burbank dr on the way to school.

it looked like this: it was a bit girly, but i am man enough not to care:
