Who do you feel needs to be reminded of that? Anyone that thinks our D didn't play lights out belongs in a straight jacket.
He looked pretty damn good to me. His offensive line was dominated by LSU but he still got them in position to score a TD. He would have posted 150 yards against an average defense.
He would have posted 150 on a really good defense, on an average defense he might still be running. :thumb:
The pass interference that just disappeared............. Im a sore loser and we got JACKED!!! May the refs burn in hell for their bad calls and I hope their balls are on fire!!!!! Sorry yall just a lil upset....
i might not be a veteran here, but eff that. russell is a fourth year junior! it is absolutely insane to say it's ok for him to take that sack. how long does he have to play ball to know this? now i'm not saying i expect him to be perfect, but i expect him to know when it's ok to throw the ball away. this problem is compounded by all the gushing about his arm strength... if his arm is that strong, just flick it the 30 yards out of the end zone right? after saying that... there was another bad call nobody is talking about. the last penalty of the game was against us for illegal formation at about 11 seconds left. when we got back to the line to run another play there was only 4 seconds on the clock. (i may have still been upset while watching the replay last night, but im pretty damn sure that's how it went down) i typed that because... well it wouldve been forgiveable for JR if we'd have scored, but the refs didn't do their jobs again. when the refs are performing that poorly, the players cannot make ANY mistake big or small, obvious or not. JR's was huge and obvious, he knew what he did right when it happened, that's why he rushed everyone to the line and then we had that illegal formation penalty. GRRR my first post since the game
Yeah, I'm a horribly sore loser for 4 hours following the game. Usually if I sleep on it, I emerge in a more realistic state of mind. However, that didn't apply to last year's UT game. I was so angry after that game I missed my first day at a job, on purpose. I suppose the reasoning was that I could blame getting fired on LSU losing, which might provide some consolation, in a really really stupid kind of way. FYI, I didn't get fired.
