Regarding Vincent: I hate to say this, because he was such a huge factor in the NC run of '03, and will therefore always have a special spot in Tiger lore, but I think JV is washed up. He looks like he is running in slow motion, and did so even before the knee injury against Miami. Regarding the litany of bad calls, don't forget the phantom holding that took away a 22 yard gain in the 2nd to last drive. Not to mention the pass interference call that took away the int in the 4th (a good call, until a completely different interpretation of the rules under similar circumstances led a complete idiot in stripes to pick up his little yellow hanky). Regarding the game in general: it is my intention to never refer to this game as one LSU lost, or one Auburn won. Nor will I reference it should I ever have need to quote LSU's record to this season. In my eyes, LSU is currently 2-0, with one game stolen from them. I encourage all Tiger fans to do the same.
At the start of the second half, Scott should have already been told by the coaches to get ready for some big time SEC action. But, no. Is it that seniority thing that kept Booty throwing pics and over throwing WRs, while Rohan Davey rode the bench?
After ALL those bad calls, when that ref picked up the flag and HE turned it over on downs on us, I literally thought beer bottles would be thrown. I don't think you should thank a criminal for not comitting a crime, but I think it shows what kind of fans we really are, despite the complaining about BS calls. And about the injury time out, I stand corrected.
At the start of the 2nd half we're up 3 - 0. I understand where you're coming from. That's why we get to sit here and second guess the coaches. You're a genius if you put Scott in late and he scores the winning TD. On the other hand you're called every name in the book if you put him in, he fumbles, and costs us the game.
