Cool story! I've never met any coaches, LSU or otherwise. :bncry: I met Joe Dean once. Well, I couldn't call it "met", let's say "witnessed atrocious behavior" (no, I wasn't in the room when he said, "Hey, let's hire Curley Hallman."). I've met various football/baseball/basketball players. A few of them when they were mere kids...boy, do I feel old!
I shoulda asked him, "So, what do you do... like... coach women's basketball?" And a cd with LSU tunes on it would have been perfect if those guys woulda starting talking trash. But really, they were all pretty cool. Even the Ole Miss coaches. I just hate them when they're on the field against us, of course.
i used to work with joe dean. talk about one loud and obnoxious fellow. all day long you'd hear these "HEH HEH" sounds coming out of his office. gotta say though, he was a nice guy. he was also still a pretty strong tiger fan and we would talk lsu a lot.
