Co-Champions means you tie in every way determing the champion...We didn't tie...We won the west by beating you...sorry.
NO--------NO-----------NO----------co champions means you tied with identical w/l records. We did. OM beat Fla. LSU lost to Fla. That put OM up by one win. LSU beat OM. That makes it a tie for the cs of the western division. Because of that tie, LSU won the right to go to the SB because of the head to head victory over OM. You were the best.....You WON the right to the SB. You are national champs. But you are still co-champs of the western division. Not exactly disgraceful.
Then why didn't yall go to Atlanta for the Championship game? You can say all you want about having identical records, but there are other mechanisms in place that determine a champion if that happens....i.e.....head to head winner, overall record, etc..... It's all moot...I honestly don't care what you ole missies say about the west...we won the whole damn thing....
Don't do it! Don't antagonize Col Reb, the Ole Miss fan who works for the US Post Office!! HE . . . COULD . . . GO . . . POSTAL!!!
Be nice JL......I'm also a VN vet. I COULD GO MILITARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HOWEVER, I see nothing wrong with that either.
Yep! You are OK, in my book, Col Reb! I love talking to Vietnam vets. I spoke to one yesterday here in NJ. We were like old buddies talking together. You could tell that he was happy to talk to somebody who really was honored to meet him.
