Marry that dog if you want to. Not my problem. But if that neighbor's dog even starts to come on to my DAUGHTER---that dog is dead.
I wear my LSU stuff all the time in LA, and hardly ever hear anything. My roommate is a USC grad actually. They care about their team and everything, but not the way we do. They tailgate, but not like us. They cheer for their team (which, God help me, USC's team is fun to watch), but not like we do. It just doesn't mean EVERYTHING to them when they play a rival or lose a game. Also, they pay little attention out here when the local teams are down. UCLA fans are hard to find right now. I wear a purple and gold LSU hat sometimes, but everyone just assumes it's a Lakers hat unless they look real close. For me, and maybe I'm biased from living here, but I can't see LSU-USC as being a rivalry. They never even played, and only a goofy set of circumstances and a crappy team from Oklahoma brought the two teams together in controversy. I had some fun with my FUSC bumper sticker, and I'd love to see them play, but I think all the bitterness is somewhat misplaced. If the BCS wasn't a crock, this would all have been settled the right way. Getting upset about USC calling themselves 2003 National Champs just makes us all forget the Tigers' accomplishment. 2003 LSU Tigers #1, forever! Forget about the Trojans.
I live in the south bay area and i can tell you i get enough Democrat Bleeding Heart crap. My wife's sister is as liberal as they come. I am a lone Republican voice in the family and believe me i have given them fits in talking politics. All they want to do is bad mouth Bush and i slam them with Clinton and it infuriates them. My wifes sister would not talk to me for 2 weeks after the election. And on sports these people out here dont know the first thing about being die hard fans. I have been to some Pac 10 sporting events and it is just not the same. I dont know if their is just too much to do in the Bay Area or what but these fans in California suck. If i started hollering tiger bait at someone at a sporting event i would be arrested for un-California like behavior. I live in an area where their are not that many Gays. Thankfully most of them live in San Fran proper and they stay there. I think Arnold is going to put an end to this gay marriage thing and there just might be enough Californian's that are sick of Gay's controlling the state. Arnold put it on the ballot and i can tell you ill vote to ban gay marriage. Geaux Tigers
