Would have been an A movie... but many of the scenes dragged on unnecessarily, adding about 45 minutes of boredom. What should have been a tightly paced 2 hour movie was a bladder-challenging 2 hour and 43 minute ordeal.

My favorite "blade" movie was sling blade. After we saw that, my kids kept imitating the speech of the main character. It was funny.

I loved it, A+. I dig sci-for and artsy (to an extent). I love the sound and music and contemplative pace, visuals are nice. It’s not a Schwarzenegger film (and I liked many of those), so if you don’t go in expecting a ton of action and you’re a fan of sci-fi/art-house you should enjoy it. Probably not many here in that camp. Maybe kind of a niche film.

I also like Valerian, but that one had a more quirky feel (director is an eccentric French guy).

Ana de Armas - She did a nice job, sweet and pretty

Sylvia Hoeks - Probably my favorite character; intense

Dave Bautista - Like this guy as an actor, played an interesting role
