didn't we have a lineman on the vikings?i remember watching MNF and i heard one of the lineman say LSU as their college...
this is from espn.com: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/college?letter=l Eric Alexander Linebacker New England Patriots Rohan Davey Quarterback New England Patriots Kevin Faulk Running Back New England Patriots Randall Gay Cornerback New England Patriots Jarvis Green Defensive End New England Patriots Marquise Hill Defensive End New England Patriots Alan Faneca Offensive Guard Pittsburgh Steelers Trev Faulk Linebacker St. Louis Rams Chad Lavalais Defensive Tackle Atlanta Falcons Todd McClure Center Atlanta Falcons Matt Mauck Quarterback Denver Broncos Kevin Mawae Center New York Jets Kenny Mixon Defensive End Minnesota Vikings Mark Roman Safety Green Bay Packers
no one had put together a full list. considering someone was asking a few posts above about players that were mentioned (w/out their position), i thought a detailed list might curb a few questions. is that okay? did i strike a nerve?
Here's something interesting looking at the link. Here's a partial list of a few major college programs that currently have former players in the NFL. LSU! 32 Fla St 40 Miami (Fla) 36 Tenn 34 Florida 34 Ohio St 33 Michigan 32 Georgia 29 Penn St 28 Nebraska 27 I don't know the highest number of former  players in the NFL at the same time, but this number has to be the highest or near the top. VERY PROUD!
LSU being up there with the big boys is very amazing considering that our success is more recent. We don't have many guys in the league that have been there over 5 yrs (Mawae, Faulk, Faneca, Kennison, Walker)
