Not in a particular order: Uriah Heep BTO (Bachman Turner Overdrive) Black Sabbath Grand Funk Railroad Aerosmith The Guess Who Allman Brothers Band CDB (Charlie Daniels Band) ZZ Top Led Zeppelin Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys
No, it gravitates to me. Growing up in BR I was friends with the owners of Leisure Landing on Chimes, they helped to open my ears up. Then when I moved here in '79 I discovered 6-8 excellent college stations locally, including KFJC, KALX, KZSU, and others. I really enjoy free form stuff, it is interesting and challenges your tastes. Some but not a lot. IMO most of it has been played into the ground and I find 95-98% of mainstream music, both new and old, banal and mundane. I actively listen to discover good new music. It's out there, trust me, but you gotta look for it. 1400+, plus 3000 mp3 songs.
Well you stole FingerBang from SouthPark.
Although I was saying Finger Bang way before SouthPark ever came out.....they had the idea of the band name first so I guess I'm guilty as charged!
