My face has hurt from smiling too much all the time. The past 8 years seem like they never happened, 2011 doesn't hurt as much. Literally I don't leave the house without being fully decked in gear. I am obnoxiously happy. So many fucking great memories from the year.

The expression on Matthew Mcconaughey on the sideline at the Texas game
    "Roll tide what, fuck you!"
    "We comin"
Joe Burrow getting pant's on live TV
Neck being played in the Dome during the ship
Seeing Drew Brees with Joe Burrow
Watching how Happy Coach O is
Corso picking us every single time, and it didn't fucking matter

I have literally watched every show on ESPN just to hear how great the team was over and over again, ALL of them.

Enjoy it folks, it doesn't get better. I know we all hope for dynasties and what comes next, but sit back and enjoy the week, be happy for the players and the coaches. Every year is different and its own thing no matter what. But the 2019 Tigers will always be in the conversation with the 01 Miami and 95 Nebraska team.

    Geaux Tigers

That phrase encapsulated everything I felt after the bama win.

I love it, probably my favorite thing he said all year.

TBH I would love to have both, but what happened that year really makes this year that much more special. Sometimes loss does that in the end, funny how that works.

But yeah, I can feel that pain just less. Fuck Miles for not at least putting Lee in, yup its still there.

Watching an interview with Jarvis after the game saying it was relief to put that day to rest.

JJ atoned for his brother. Jefferson household is righted.

They for sure saved the best for last, different positions and I loved them all. I wonder if we will have like 4 or 5 Jefferson's at LSU in 18 years or so.

Couldn’t agree more. I live in NJ and you can bet your ass I’ll be wearing purple and gold outside of work this week.

I’ll also add that without 2011, we probably wouldn’t have had this season. Miles would definitely have been around longer, O may not have stuck around until he was gone, and Burrow would likely not have transferred here. Even if he did, there’s no way he’d have played in this offense.

Exactly, put very nicely. In this alternative history universe, Miles is probably still the Coach if he wins 2011 and maybe LSU wins a few more championships due to better recruiting. And maybe Saban is at Kansas lol. We will never know.
