1. I think the talking heads are putting too much emphasis on the coaching dual and none on the players. We beat Bama in every aspect of the game. Talent-wise I put them at the Arkansas/VT level. Some good aspects here and there but no way they will keep up. Saban is not the coach to end all coaches. If he was he would still be in Miami.
  2. I like how CFN officially picks Bama to win in their weekly picks of the site but their staff picks still go with LSU for the win. Its 5-2 for a LSU win.

    Fear the Hat :miles:
  3. Exactly right. This game is just tabloid fodder as far as they're concerned. I have yet to see a serious analysis breaking down the key matchups in the game to explain why Bama would win. It's all centered on Saban, Dorsey, and the Perilloux incident.

  4. Corso said we were the best team in the nation, then he called us a fraud, now he is back on our bandwagon. Tell him we don't need his pick, or his support.

  5. Sounds good to me. I just know that Steltz lays wood.
  6. Good News

    Mark May picks LSU

    Lou Picks Bama

    Thank God

And then I forget his name from NFL Live gave Lou a pep talk about how he is getting killed by May this year in predictions and he should stay away from picking ND. Then Lou picks ND.
  7. I still believe we can move the ball on your defense. Putting one of the receivers in the 3rd inside slot has been successful against the LSU defense from the teams who have used that option. Do you double team? There lies a question. But, if you do, it'll open up the passing game, the running game as well.

I do find it amusing all the talking heads picking Bama because most of us that follow the program closely see this as a loss, but a close game.
  8. damn, is this guy a psychic??? It was as if he were at the game already. I say BS!!!!!!!!! We take the game by 14
  9. I never said Bama couldn't, but their offense is a bit limited with only two real playmakers, meaning that other players will have to step up. I expect a shift to more man-to-man rather than that soft zone that's been killing us, with significant blitzing thrown in. I think we'll see some double-teaming on D. J. Hall, but not enough to get other players open consistently. The key is to get after JPW early and often.
  10. It's the man to man that has been what we've succeeded against this year. The zone presented problems.

I also see that coming early and often is going to countered with a lot of mis-direction which will counter the speed you have on the defense.
