If, If, the Junior class sticks around. When does that happen? Bama at number two with Julio, Ingram, Dareus, Barron leaving, not going to happen, unless someone incredibly dynamic at QB shows up. I'll get back with y'all.

If we get a new pro style oc to go with our new pocket passer qb then we will rock and roll next year and should be in the mix all year. If we keep the spread option with jj as qb and the crow calling the plays we will be at the bottom of offensive performance catergories again and will get very little respect from the voters again. We may win and be ranked high but winning ugly like this year causes most to claim were overrated.

Hell, going 10-2 with JJ nothing short of a FREAKING MARICAL>>>>>>>

At this rate, give LSU a QB who can throw for AT LEAST 1500 yards and LSU should have an easy ride to 10 wins….

Give LSU a QB who can throw for 2k and LSU all the way..

IMO, the key for the 2011 season is:

    1. D’line
    2. MLB
    3. Safety

"LSU is still missing a passer behind center. Jarrett Lee is athletic enough to make the plays with his feet, but he has not shown at any one point the past two seasons that he is the answer throwing the ball"

Guess they dont proofread this junk......

I agree with the D line, we got Montgomery coming back along with other DE's so I am satisyfied with that but the DT position should be a key definetly.
MLB? Who's going to step up. Kevin Minter got some playing time this year as a true freshman if he fills in he has big shoes to fill.
Safety I am comfortable with we have Loston, Reid and Taylor and Hatcher coming back, out of those guys we should find some consistency.

The key to next year is in the trenches. On offense if we can open holes we have a stable of horses that can pound the teeth out of the competition. If they can hold the line then our passing game should be improved. If mett is in then a little extra time will allow him to make a play. If it's jj the extra time may keep his happy feet in check and allow him to have the extra time he needs to think. Jl needs the time so he can throw off his front foot and avoid the int. A great o line is extra important when you have problems at qb. On defense we have the secondary to compete. The tyrannasaurus and co will do fine. If the d line can camp in the backfield of our foes then victory is much more likely. Allowing your qb time to work while denying the opponets that time is key to winning. We are returning a good o line but the d line is still the question

That seems tro be a trend at Bama & LSU - quality QB.
