Of course it is realistic to have hope when you are ranked 4 in the BCS, with half a season to go. First, we would have to win them all, and second, we would need a couple of teams to lose, 2 of those teams losing one game is probably going to occur, IMHO.
Yep, still realistic. We have the toughest schedule of any one loss teams. Our biggest enemy at this point (other than future opponents) is the cupcake schedule at OSU. BC still has a tough road to hoe. USF has a couple of mildly difficult games.
Oh LSU is still very much alive for a NC nod... but now instead of controlling our own destiny (not losing) we have to hope 1-2 other teams lose. USF has no real chances they've played no one except Auburn... but Auburn is a different team now then when they played. Ohio State sucks and the Big Ten is a weak conference with no real power. OSU will lose badly if they play a real contender in that game. We need to win out from here and win the SECC and we'll see the Sugar in NO.
W. Virginia is sorely over rated like many teams this year. Put them in another conference like the Big 12 or SEC and their mediocre at best.
LSU vs oklahoma possibly an untested ohio st. Would be very surprised if it doesn't turn out this was. And no I don't have beer goggles on.:champs:
Re: NC Hopes... Is is realistic? Living in the heart of buckeye country as I do, the talk around here is OSU defense is not that great. Remenber OSU has Penn State in happy Vally. Always a rough place to play for the Buckeyes.
