this is the death of the playoff system. maybe they'll come around and at least give us the +1. :geauxtigs still seems unfair to conferences that have a championship game. now you have yet another chance to lose and no real reward (BCS wise) for winning your conf championship. :cuss:

So if I get this right. We keep the 2 open dates and extend by one week the regular season pushing the SEC championship back a week. And for the fan we get to spend money to watch USL come to Baton Rouge or some other rent a win that needs 500 grand for thier program.
Nah, a 12 game season would allow us to schedule more home and home series with better competition. The VT series was a result of the 12 game season. And even w/o the 12 game season, our OOC home schedule is getting a little better with the likes of Oregon St, Arizona and Arizona St.
