    Here's your NCAA rules committee.

    http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2014/02/sad_to_see_the_ncaa_help_nick.html#incart_most-comments

    Larry Scott, PAC 12 Commissioner
    Jon Steinbrecher, MAC 12 Commissioner
Shelley Appelbaum, senior women's administrator, Michigan State.
Derita Ratcliffe, senior women's administrator, UAB.
    Jeff Hurd, commissioner, WAC.
    Noreen Morris, commissioner, Northeast Conference.
Lisa Sweany, AD, Armstrong Atlantic State University.
Kristy Bayer, senior women's administrator, Arkansas Tech.
    Doug Zipp, AD, Shenandoah University.
    Lynn Oberbillig, AD, Smith College.
Sue Lauder, AD, Fitchburg State University.

Those administrators have a choice. They can either help Saban and Bielema slow down Malzahn and Sumlin or force the old-school guys to find a way to deal with the new-age gurus.

Who do you really want deciding football games - players and coaches or ADs and senior women's administrators?

Read what you've just said shane.

Suddenly, defenses are in bad shape? We're just discovering this?

My god...your judgement on this is clouded.

This is why Saban wants it changed. He's recruited athletes that can't defend the hurry up and even if he knows how to scheme for it, he doesn't have the players on hand right now, and he knows it.

Do you really believe that Saban hasn't recruited top players? Or knows how to coach defense? I think he wants to change it because he has the players to counter anything and wants the time to put the right guys in. I bet Chief would like the time, too.

No, don't get me wrong, I never said he doesn't recruit top players, just most of his OLB's are not the type of players who have the endurance to defend the fast pace no huddle.

Regardless of why, he doesn't like it and claiming player safety is bullshit

Exactly, I'm not saying they are "out of shape" I'm saying they need to be coached better. The player safety crap iris just that, crap. This won't have any effect on player safety and I hope it he idea never gets serious consideration.
