This is why Saban wants it changed. He's recruited athletes that can't defend the hurry up and even if he knows how to scheme for it, he doesn't have the players on hand right now, and he knows it.

Do you really believe that Saban hasn't recruited top players? Or knows how to coach defense? I think he wants to change it because he has the players to counter anything and wants the time to put the right guys in. I bet Chief would like the time, too.
No, don't get me wrong, I never said he doesn't recruit top players, just most of his OLB's are not the type of players who have the endurance to defend the fast pace no huddle. Regardless of why, he doesn't like it and claiming player safety is bullshit
Exactly, I'm not saying they are "out of shape" I'm saying they need to be coached better. The player safety crap iris just that, crap. This won't have any effect on player safety and I hope it he idea never gets serious consideration.
