Sorta figured that would be the consensus here. Real reason I posted that was as I was reading the title of the article, the first thing that popped in my head was wondering if the rule change was a result of Saban's complaining. I remember him doing that about the hurry-up offense and something else. I'm not sure if the rule change possibility is news or if it's been out. I don't follow recruiting much.
I like it. The pros If we get on a kid early we can lock him Once enough are locked in the gumps can't offer every 5 star recruit in the country The Keeps us from poaching last It might pass but I don't see a lot of kids to bite. They love the stupid hat dance too much
Not to mention they can't stockpile recruits and then greyshirt 50 of them, or send them packing when they get Joe Smith to flip on NSD.
