The people in the booth sure were familiar with it and said, "This is what we call the wilcat formation," but they may have seen it at their practice if they visited. I was under the impression that it had been used before but I hope I'm wrong cause that would answer why they were so successful with it (Other than the simple fact of what it's obvious strenths were) against our defense.
It sounds like what I'm hearing is that if Notre Dame wins tonight, then LSU has a very good chance of playing USC in the Rose Bowl. That is DEFINITELY what I'm rooting for.
I guess I'm crazy cause I still think they have a chance. There are still two full quarters for Weis.... it will take some tunovers.
