Maybe not, It looks like he's a qualified coach. I think it's really hard to be HC and a full time coordintator. I'm sure he's more involved on the defensive side, though.
Mighty nepotistic. I'd be uncomfortable if I was a Husker fan. Can Bo be objective in this situation. Very doubtful. I'm not impressed. He could hire one of a hundred different candidates and evaluate them objectively. Bad move, IMO.
Bo is the head coach; not the DC. I am sure Carl Pelini will be DC in more than just name. I don't think he would have taken the job otherwise.
We should have a caption contest for Pelini's picture there. I see something to the effect of "Why did this picture have to be taken at 3 AM"
Didn't work out very good at Arky, Danny Nutt lost job, and took down his brother Houston also. I think if we researched, there are more negative situations than positive, which is why many companies have anti nepotism policies.
