Got the call last night, my connection didnt get picked in the lottery. Still have hotel , but no tickets now.
Im really pissed that these so called LSU fans are selling the tickets ( that alot of them got in the lottery) to the highest bidder. Buckeye or Tiger .
All of this is for the money, and they people are the same people that flamed Saban for having the same morals. ( Some people need to look in the mirror alittle while)
Buddy in Baton Rouge is still looking and asking some friends that he knows if they got picked ( maybe they will sell ), but I have a room booked in New Orleans and will hold on to it for alittle while while we look. So, any of the gang that might be looking for a room , We might be able to swap the reservationsaround to your name . To All of You Ticket Leeches, Sorry to you its 1300.00 a night.:thumb:

I'm driving in from Oklahoma City. We don't have tickets, but we have a room. I tossed it around and decided, it is a rare occurrence to make it to the NC, but to be in New Orleans just makes it sweeter. The place will be crawling with Purple and Gold. It will be great. :geaux: :crystal: :crystal: :crystal: :LSU231:

Yes, the shame of people trying to make money, when they should just care about your feelings and lack of disposable income. Let's get on our soapbox and condemn them for not just giving you a ticket at face value, when they can easily sell it for 10x that amount. Shame on them!

The real people you should be upset with is those of us that are willing to pony up the cash to do it....It is ridiculous, I agree 100%, but its the world we live in...but, if we wouldn't do it, the brokers couldn't do it...supply & demand the basic principal of Econ 101...

We shouldn't be upset with anyone, period. This is admission to a football game that will be freely broadcasted on TV to anyone who wants to view it, not some lifesaving medication or some other necessity in life. And he was whining about individual people selling their tickets to the highest bidder, not some ticket broker company (who I don't really care much for either, btw).

Going to a high demand football game is a luxury, not a right or a necessity. I just don't understand the whining on behalf of people who cannot afford the high admission price. If I had tickets to this and couldn't go, then damn right I would be trying to get the most money for it. I would be stupid not to.

Personal finance is mostly about behavior. If someone is too undisciplined to save money and pay cash for something at the front end it ususally indicates they are too undisciplined to save money during the interest free period and pay off whatever was financed.

Also ask the question in reverse, would you borrow money from equity in your property to have the money to invest in a CD or savings account?

Paying cash for everything is the best and safest way to do things.
