how would losing weight make him a bad character guy? it shows EVERYTHING about him being a GOOD character guy, sacrificing so much time to get better for the team
Some people get it, some don't. :thumb: Character, team player, thinking player, non-whiner.... THOSE are the things I want Big Baby to be/have. :thumb:
i agree, but why bring it up? What has he done to lead you to believe he will be like that? Are you saying he looks like Webber now? If so, then I appologize I thought it was just a random comment you made, and if that was the case, I didn't understand where it was coming from, but if you're saying he looks like him in appearance, then i appologize
Ya he has always been the 300 pounder that moved like a guy half his size. Now he is half his size from last year, and it will be interesting to see how he plays this season.
Apparently you weren't one of the 20 guys on this board to score a 36 in reading comp on the ACT. No one said Big Baby was a bad character guy. Someone pointed out that he was beginning to look like CWEBB, and that he hoped he didn't get some of CWEBB's other attributes (i.e. bad character). It was a sarcastic comment and not that confusing.
i appologize for having dialup internet at home, and not seeing the picture he posted of C-Webb... you guys are such tools, man... geez...
Nah, I think he looks like him now. Webber is the kind of guy that makes me hate on the present-day Association All stats and glamor, no real hoop smarts, team concept, or toughness. The guy practically disappears in the clutch, then points the finger elsewhere. Then comes back wanting respect (read - more $$$) because of his stats. There's WAY too many of those guys in the NBA nowadays. I just hope and pray that Glenn Davis keeps his drive and intellect and doesn't turn out like that. Represent  and himself proud. :thumb: PS Your comments fired me up because I used to love the NBA. Webber & his ilk are making that tough nowadays.
:dis: It is amazing how we will argue over such a small thing. The original post that said "Davis is starting to look like Webber, I hope his outcome is better" is pretty ambiguous. Pulling out ACT scores to defend that statement is a little silly.
He's still 280 lbs, with the same wide frame. He's not suddenly going to be a push around. And he's been playing all summer with the top players in the league, so he would know already if the weight loss was a hamper to his success.
