Sorry. I know that two year difference makes a HUGE impact on the direction our country has turned in the last few months (snicker). 10 of the last 13 years. So, what does it change?
it was real easy, but i give the gop some props for being the party of NO. that is what a successful (read "temporary") opposition party does.
i dont like the bill because its too big, but something should be done and clearly the GOP will do everything they can to stop it so it must be done now. i hold out hope that a smaller bill makes it through and is then improved in later years. the landmark civil rights act of 1965 had weaker predecessors. i'll bet the GOP lead congress of '11 will add tort reform and open up plan choice.
