Damn, that shows you the lack of respect the pollsters have for LSU and for good reason. Arkansas with 1 loss is ranked ahead of us.
Ranked about right, top 5 defense, solid special teams, weak offense, but better with Lee at the controls. How much better can the offense get with balance from Lee's passing and Ridley running, but without a QB run option available? I think it can get better, if we get more productivity from the pass.
Honestly, I can care less about the AP. After '03 when they just named USC AP champs, refusing to abide by the agreement that the winner of the BCS title game was the true champ, I don't even bother with the AP. The AP can kiss it.
At the end of the day, a chitty W is still a W.. While we dont like it, who would complain with a chitty W against s the Bama, UF, AUb and Ark? I think none.. This team has the tools, just needs a leader on O to weed out the mistakes....
