New book about "the liberal media"

    It was Alterman who claimed that the NY Times was not liberal.
    Sorry if I indicated otherwise.
    Franken was his tag-team partner.
    When Alterman made that claim, Franken didn't say anything.
    The general media is no doubt very liberal socially.
    And when economically it ties in with the liberal social agenda, they will slant that way, but overall I'd call them economic conservatives such as supporting NAFTA as another poster indicated.
    They absolutely hate the traditional family model, so if a social welfare program helps break those ties, they will support it.
    The big media also loves corporate welfare, since they are a recipient as well.
    They are definitely pro-Fortune 500 and anti anti-trust busting.

    Sorry about that. But my opinion of Franken remains unchanged. It is just my humble opinion, though, red meat conservative that I am. :D
