I remember the Festival

I was at the festival in '69. I was 19 and 5 of us went together.There was Ted Carter,Mike Chanbers,Evan Driggers,,myself ,and good ol whars his name.I think we paid close to $25 for our tickets.It was a 3 day event. I remember that the group I enjoyed most was Santana and the artist I liked most was Janice Joplin. About half way thru sat they stoped asking for tickets which was good for 2 of our group because they didnt have tickets,

I was there .....age 16.......much fun was had.

 

Seems like you still remember a lot of it.

 

I spent 67 to 71 in the military. You may thank me for my service. I was into country music and beer. Whiskey made my face hurt.

 

Anyone remember a house with murals painted on the outside, it was a couple blocks from Airline Hwy, on N. Foster.

Anyone remember this guy playing at the J Club?

 

Yeah...had a black king fu guy on the front...or something similar. Super Fly.
