    First it was in his contract to be the highest paid coach, 2nd, Emmert was still here when the contract was finalized which we know had a pretty firm grip on the athletic department.

    And what religion would that be? There's really no need for that -- I don't understand why someone would make this type of comment. It is totally unnecessary and smacks of anti-semitism.

    Let the man do his job and let's keep religion out of it.

    Saban signed a contract extention AFTER the title game last year (after he announced that he was staying)....

    My fiance' is Jewish, so I know exactly where he was going with it but chose not to call him out on it. Since you kinda did, I'll chime in and agree that it was totally uncalled for on his part.

    If he's in med school, he should KNOW that there are tons of Jewish doctors out there (I know, I'm in the medical field).
