1. notre dame storms the court or field any time they win nowadays. every win is scarce therefore huge.

they won't storm the court tonight after UCONN beats them.
  2. Well the field is only rushed when an unexpected victory occurs over a superior opponent, so I can honestly say that I hope the field at Tiger Stadium is never rushed again.
  3. Yet another great tradition destroyed because a. people are idiots and they like to destroy **** and b. after they break ****, they get a splinter in their fingers and sue people.
  4. Or, in the case of USL, er, ULL, they took the goalpost after beating 25th ranked Texas A&M and made a freakin monument out of it. To this day, it sits in front of Cajun Field as a testament to the only win ever over a ranked team.

I don't care who you are, that there is some funny stuff. :D :D
  5. whats funny is someone stole it...

  6. hopefully it was the one person from there who had sense enough to see how embarrassing it was to be proud of such an accomplishment.
  7. About half the schools in D-1A would do the same if they beat a top25 team...

  8. lol nah just the ones barely hanging on to their 1A status. HALF? surely you jest.
  9. so i guess the cellar dwellers of the WAC, MAC, MWC, etc. wouldnt react the same to beating a top team from a BCS conference? ok.. Yeah.. that Texas A&M team turned out to be pretty poor, but the thing they are commemorating is that at the time USL won that game, they were major underdogs to a ranked team and they won on homecoming.. probably the only time they have rushed the field in the Swamp.. so yeah.. you keep the goalpost.
