since when has LSU even been relevant when they wore the old gold? the new(er) uniforms are instant identity. i don't think that it's off base to criticize going back to that color. seriously, who even remembers LSU wearing old gold? maybe my grandpa, i don't know. :huh: anyway, it's not that big a deal. it could have been much worse. like tOSU.
It doesn't matter. Your point was simply that they were changing the colors. LSU colors are royal purple and old gold. Canary yellow isn't the official color unless that's been changed and I'm simply not aware (it's possible). To say the LSU's current colors are purple and gold is inaccurate. Of course I don't think LSU says it's canary yellow but it's closer to canary yellow than it is to the actual color "old gold". :lol:
the official color for LSU is Pantome PMS 123 -- LSU Colors | Visual Identity Program Depending on where you look up the color, some places call it gold some call it sunglass yellow.
Scott and Ridley modled the uniforms yesterday: Not crazy about the white on white but the helmet looks cool. I don't mind experimenting with shades of yellow/gold.
