San Diego St. helmet..has a cool fluorescence/holographic effect about it in the sun. I'd like to change our helmet up a bit, not necessarily like that...but that's an example of thinking 'out of the box' for designs.
I wouldn't mind different uniforms for the bowl. It's only one game after all. I like the traditional unis (now almost fifty years old, with only minor updates over the decades), so I hope there aren't radical changes when the new coach comes in.
But ND wore green jerseys WAY back in the day. Like, I'm talking '20's and '30's....That's why it's such a big deal when they wear them now--it symbolizes a time when ND was dominant. Many hard-core ND fans don't want to see the Irish wear green until the earn it (i.e. "until they win another national title")
WHAT?!?!?!?! Dude!!! That's the UGLIEST freak'n helmet ever! And to think Wyoming gets bashed by ESPN for having the "ugliest uniforms"?!!? I can't even imagine what they would say about a purple and gold version of THAT San Diego St. piece of crap!!! We've got a tradition-rich conference....Why do you want it to mimic some mid-major conference garbage???
