David Letterman: I ate at that new Prudhomme restaurant last night.
    Paul Shaffer: Paul Prudhomme?
DL: No, Don Prudhomme. I had the blackened funny car.

One of the few actresses who could truly share the screen with the Duke. The Quiet Man is an all-time favorite.

Maureen O'Hara had the longest babespan of any woman in Hollywood. Longer than Shirley Jones, longer than Cher. And despite her beauty she was a tomboy with swagger.

"There is only one woman who has been my friend over the years, and by that I mean a real friend, like a man would be. That woman is Maureen O'Hara. She's big, lusty, absolutely marvelous--definitely my kind of woman. I've had many friends and I prefer the company of men. Except for Maureen O'Hara. She's a great guy." -- John Wayne

The Quiet Man pub is actually a hardware store. I was a little disappointed...but we found one on the next street and I got over it. One of my all time favorite movies.
