WWE Hall of Famer Nikoli Volkoff died yesterday at age 70. He was one of 3 wrestlers who died yesterday. "Brickhouse Brown" died of cancer, and Bryan Lawler, son of Jerry Lawler, allegedly committed suicide.

Unfortunately no, his performing days ended before I was able to or if he was still on stage (which I'm sure he was) I was in some foreign land.

He sadly falls into a list of greats that I will never get to see but that doesn't take away from their greatness. Even if GG was as queer as a $3 bill.

He will be missed. His contribution to La. Swamp pop is immeasurable

I got to see him quite a few times. He used to play with JerryCount Jackson around BR when I was in HS and at LSU. Them and Bill Wray and his Show Band and even John Fred made BR a great music scene.
