I think that's going to end up being 3 players. Orange Coast College baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife, and his daughter were all on board. And there are reports of one other player and her mother.

So tragic, I hate this so much. Like I said, damn Da Vinci for creating this freaking whirly bird of death!

Imagine traffic sucking so bad that not even a limo is good enough anymore. Just hop a helo and fuck all that. Sucks bad enough for the grown ups, but the kids being onboard compounds the tragedy.

That is what hurts the most. My heart literally tears when bad things happen to kids. I hate it!

Do we know yet if this was a mechanical problem or human failure? Heard yesterday that the helicopter caught fire in flight, but a CBS Radio report this morning said there was no SOS from the pilot.

As I was driving Sunday I heard them blaming the fog as a possibility.

Lot of unanswered questions. The fog was so bad that planes were grounded at LAX. The copter pilot was flying at 800 feet trying to follow a road. Then he took it up to 2200 feet but must have either lost power or deliberately dropped altitude when it crashed into a mountain at 1700 feet.
