Here's one that snuck by all of us last month. Ron Palillo - Arnold Horshack from Welcome Back, Kotter - died Aug. 13 of an apparent heart attack. He was 63.
Bob Denver Gilligan also Maynard G Krebs two classic comedic role of the late 1950's and early 1960's. I laughed so hard at Maynard's shrieks whenever the word "work" was mentioned.
Larry Hagman...Major Tony Nelson on "I dream of Jeannie" and most famously 'J.R. Ewing' on Dallas: http://www.dallasnews.com/news/loca...torious-as-dallas-villain-j.r.-ewing-dies.ece
This thread makes me think I'm mortal. Macho camacho is dead. Shot in the face. Was always a crazy mf. Had no knockout power but was a great spic to hate back when boxing was still legit. He started those frilly fucked up shorts I think. I remember when boom boom Mancini got screwed by the judges against him, was clearly a fix. So I guess boxing was never legit. soon after he killed that Korean Kim and retired at 24 or so. I was just a kid but boxing was once a spectacle of a sport. Ray retired at a press conference with those shades on crying. He never recovered.
Yep, Camacho was surely more about the production that got him into the ring moreso than what he did in it. I guess he was good for boxing but I think I'd call him more of a track star they way he ran away from everyone instead of mixing it up as boxers should. Too bad he is dead though, and shot in the face. That has to suck.
