Hell I barely even went last year. I killed about 50 with the kids roaming around the yard and did one trip to the camp with the kids and some buddies and their kids with some cur dogs but that was it. Don't have any in the freezer everything we killed this year got ate up right away. Didn't go turkey hunting but once either. Ridiculous.

Was just joking but squirrel hunting is my favorite. I don't eat them much. Once or twice a year is enough. Used to kill 80 a year and never hunt them while duck season was open.

We have a spring season for squirrels about to open. Think like next weekend. It started a year or 2 ago but I haven't hunted it. It's awful warm now I don't know about carrying a sack full of squirrels around for 3-4 hours in 80+ degree temps. Yard squirrels would be ok I guess can get them cold quick. Just doesn't seem like you supposed you've killin them right now but I guess without freezers and before the govt started regulating our lives for us if you were hungry for a squirrel you killed it whenever the hunger struck.

Yard squirrels are more like pets than prey. It would be like shooting a dog or a cat.

Let those bastids get in your attic and see if you still think they are like pets. They can destroy some wiring in a hurry, not to mention the piss in your insulation.
