Jimbo said that JR makes just as many reads at the line of scrimmage as any QB he's ever had. He's never said that JR was just as good at it.

While i think hogzfan needs to work on his presentation and get something to back him up before he comes in here talking smack, he does have a point. Arkansas is going to be a much improved team next year. And on the outside it looks like a desperate move to hire a HS coach as an OC, but this guy has done some innovative things, and they covered their asses as well when they made this bold move by hiring NFL QBs coach Alex wood, who for all intensive purposes IMO is going to be Co-OCs with Malzahn. They quickly pulled in Mustain and 4* WR Damian Williams came in a package deal. Also with the addition of DC Reggie Herring, who made NC St the best defense in the country, this is shaping up to be a respectable staff. Theres young talent, promising coaching, and a team that has been together for a while, a lot of starters coming back. When you sift through hogfanz blind adoration of his team, he has a point, Arkansas is going to be a real threat next year, and as LSU Fans, we all know how hard it can be to win in Little Rock. (see 2001)

Thanks, Im a little biased though and understand where you are coming from. I grew up in Little Rock and go to school here at LSU and always will have a place for the hogs in my heart. Where are you from Hogfanz?

I agree with hogzfan24, with everyones expectations way down for the hogs, we'll be able to easily sweep the sec, with mitch we're going to be a national threat not just a threat in the sec, o and i almost forgot LSU SUCKSSSSSSSSSS

Two word: Ron Powlus. He was supposed to be the savior QB at Notre Dame but washed out. Hype is just hype. I'm not saying Mustain won't live up to it but lots of guys don't.

it wasn't a desperation move, we needed an offensive coordinator sure, but we weren't desperate, and that offensive coordinator took springdale to the state championship every year, and he coached mitch, so they'll work really good together, it'll be no different and that will cause him to become comfortable which is why we're going to have ten or eleven wins next season, LSU SUCKS!!!
