Don't worry! The defense looked bad on the first series but that seems to be the norm. They had the Vikings stopped on the second drive until the penalties hurt them. On both series they hit Favre a total of five times. On the third series it was three and out. We just need to offense to keep it close until the end of the 3rd quarter. Then the offense call roll and the defense can apply the pressure.
Brees just missed Shockey for a 25-yard pass. :angry: That's okay...Brees to Bush for 28 yards. :thumb:
Another "no call" offensive holding on the Vikings. Other than Brees tricking the defense to jump offsides, I don't recall a penalty on Minnesota. I guess they don't want Favre sacked. :nope:

The Saints missed a good opportunity on first down but Brees got Minnesota to jump again. Brees is great!
3rd and 1 and we can't get it. Damn!...that's the one part of our offense that's missing. Our defense deserved a break and the offense couldn't do it.
We're trying to avoid pressure but keep having trouble on first down. We've missed on several passes and it's killing us on third down as we keep coming up short. 4th & 1 and the Saints ALMOST draw Minnesota offsides. I'm disappointed in our offense the last two drives. We're killing ourselves with mistakes. I would love a turnover and score to take the lead at the half.
