That report seems curious as Alabama had more highly rated attendees than LSU.
Regardless the evaluation of JJ is accurate. Most who defended him never claimed he was a top QB just the best we had (maybe). He started 3 years for a reason and it wasn't that he had some thing on CLM.
I also don't like that seemingly all the blame for Jan 9 is laid at his feet. He had a major share but so did the O line and coaching.
The defense I feel strongly about is against what seem to be personal attacks and the rejection that he was and is a Tiger.
Whether he make it in the NFL or is even drafted is of little matter. However if is and/or does I will cheer him on and wish him well no matter what.

Actually I thought the comments on JJ were the silliest part of the article. JJ was top 5 in every competition listed (where is the wonderlic?), so you can't really knock him for having a weak performance. Any article that explicitly grades the combine, and only the combine, has to rate him highly.

JJ's problem is that the 20 yard shuttle isn't really the best indicator of QB performance.

    Reply o line

The o line did not play aginst a pass rush , it was a rudhing defense Saban knew , JJ could not beat him passing . JJ is still JJ

I didn't take the time to read the linked article. But, I can say with certainty that Jordan Jefferson will never make it in the NFL, not even as a backup, or a backup of a backup. He's that bad. One of the posters sums it up well by stating how we continuously heard year after year how great Jefferson looked in practice and how he had made vast improvements. Of course, I was never led on by any of that.

I almost laughed when I saw this thread. Even after the all the constant horrors that Jefferson put us all through over the last several years, I wish him the best and may he find success, if not in football, then elsewhere.

What you guys are missing is that being a great practice QB could be the very thing that keeps him employed IF he commits to it WHEN he fails to garner meaningful game reps. Guys like him can have long careers while never being a threat to see the field if they accept it for what it is...six figures annually and a pension. Believe it or not, sky is the limit for him...ironically. The sooner he understands he's not a starter quality NFl QB, the better.
