My thoughts exactly. Remember Gunner as well.

I think it is a safe bet Miles recruits the best QB's regardless of "Type".

If we had RGIII LSU would have at least 1 arguably 2 BCS titles right now in the last 3 years. Type has NOTHING to do with it. Bama was smart. They stopped the ONLY thing JJ could marginally do. Run the option and that is even debatable because I saw more option fail than success over the years.
That and the zone read which was marginally successful but once a team stopped that, it was game over.
It has nothing to do with "Type" of QB. It has to do with is that QB even serviceable in their role.

The real question.............who would finish a Sodoku puzzle first,
Jefferson or Russell???? Which one of them even knows what Sodoku is????

Personally, I see JJ as the FIRST Afro American alligator hunter on Swamp People!!!! Hurry choot'em! He juss came back alive!!!!

Sure did, from the same seats in Tiger stadium that I still sit in. Sometimes teams have success despite the QB. JJ won because of the talent around him, not because he was even a decent QB.

Two posts that show the difference between legitimate criticism and personal attack. Both are let's say anti JJ.
Twisted Tiger talks about talent/performance and has a valid argument.
TCU Tiger makes a personal attack that sheds no light and is only an expression of his venom.

There is a big difference between the two. I have never said having a negative view of JJ's performance is wrong or mean It is the personal shot at player who has given his career to LSU that bothers me.

This. One would swear JJ had played for Bama or AU or USC. Not for LSU.

thanks you just made my point. I have said this in many threads that I watched him play at Destrehan and knew he wasn't SEC material but everyone disagreed with me. Facts are facts.
