1. I was thinking the same thing. Miami still gets a lot of play out of pro players touting "the U". However, I flashed back to when Reggie Bush was on a conference call with McKnight to get him to attend USC and it being a recruiting violation. Of course after Mcknight outed Petey and Bush they covered it up and said it didn't happen. My point is I don't know the specific rules on how much contact our alumni can have with recruits.
  2. I could be wrong, but I thought that had something to do with a specific "no contact" period.
  3. Laron moved into a house here in Slidell recently and I wouldn't be surprised if he were in B.R. training :)
  4. I've said this a number of times, and I'm a contributor here but TD has much more going on. It's 80% crap but that 20% is still about 3 to 4 times what goes on around here.
  5. I agree...but it's tough to wade through all the lunacy over there to get to the gems. Frustrating.
  6. yes it is frustrating but td has more post in a day than are posted on here in a year.
  7. I'll take quality over quantity myself.. I post on both boards.

When I want a reasonable discussion I come here.
  8. appropriate 1,000 post! :thumb:
  9. No, recruits are not supposed to talk to former players (NFL variety) about attending their school. The only exception is if a former relationship exists something like the player and the recruit having to know one another since the recruit was in at least 8th grade?

I suppose Joe and Kevin Faulk just discussed the weather. :yelwink2:
  10. About 1% are useful on TD, so it's even.
