As a Dolphins fan, I disagree. We are a frustrated group, who have grown accustomed to mediocrity. Many of us understand the team has a variety of needs and understand it will likely take a couple years before the team is consistently competitive again.

Sure, Saban has to produce, but the immediacy is simply not there. The Fins have been on a steady decline since 1984, and their problems do NOT start and stop with Ricky Williams or the coach or even the players.

yes I agreed with his entire post except this belief FT has had that saban is in over his head. if ever there is a coach in the NFL with a honeymoon period its little nicky. Too much invested in him to run him off soon and the fans feel like they stole a great coach which they may have. If they were unhappy as a group then there's real presssure to win immediately.

actually its impossible to not win a NC if you outscore all of your opponents.

lmao i knew you'd take the bait.

I was referring to LSU. that wouldn't happen to us. The fact you have a classless team/coach cost you. nothing more. karma is a bitch. smoke 'em if you got 'em.

Ya got me, hook, line and sinker. Obviously, our opinions differ on the class thing.

By the way, I wouldn't wish what we went through on anyone...except Bama and really not even them, since I would much rather see them 0-11.

On a completely different note, who do y'all have in baseball this weekend? I noticed you haven't updated your sig.

All I can say about Nick Saban is THANKS COACH! The man delivered LSU football a National Championship, something I wondered if I'd ever see in my lifetime. He elevated LSU's football program to a national level and in doing so he ruled his program with iron fist, something I think needed to be done. Yes, I liked the Buddy Songy practice reports and other information that would come out on a minute by minute basis, but that whole circus needed to be shut down. And maybe he wasn't the most personable guy in the world, but I don't care if he won any congeniality contests, he won on the football field. And, I'm sorry but if some other employer offered me double my salary to leave, I'd be gone in a heart beat. The only thing I didn't care for with the whole Dolphins thing, was that his departure was announced on Christmas night. But other than that, I say thanks coach and good luck with the Dolphins!

I wouldnt wish on what you experienced last season on anyone either, unless its allbarn again. As long as tub o'crap is there, you get what you deserve.

the press there have already nicknamed him 007.

(because he's discloses zero information and has already kicked them out of their own pressroom.)

I would like to announce that I wish that I had written this post. It describes my view on the subject perfectly. The only thing I would change is, instead of "good luck with the Dolphins", I would say, "I wish you and your family the best of times in your new home and your new lives."

I feel that it's more important for Nick's family to be happy at this point in their lives.
