The thing is, Cajun, it doesn't fit with the "facts" of the industry. I've been involved in a two new dealership launches in the last five years and only one was at the 11MM figure—the Lexus franchise fee and new build. "Take it or leave it?" Really? What does it matter in the end? It certainly doesn't have any bearing on the gridiron.

There are only between 320-350 Mercedes Benz dealerships in the entire country for a reason. In comparison, there are about 1,500 Toyota dealerships (5 times as many). Also, there may be 2 of them I can't remember, I know I was told that there was definitely 1 going up in the Birmingham area. It will all be public knowledge soon enough.

Your post seemed like you were questioning the info that I was providing. I did not realize that the masses knew anything about it. I knew that some of it had 'leaked'. Do an internet search, for example, and nothing really pops up on the subject. Yes, I did hear that it was in North Birmingham. If you read the last sentence of my post, I was asking people's opinion. I hope that answers your 'so what?' question.
