LSU fanbase... Maybe it because I think the Saints are a joke but if Saban left Baton Rouge to go to New Orleans I sure wouldn't think that I would support him in that move.

As far a challenge win the SEC every year. That's a challenge.

Lot bigger paycheck. What is Haslett's bottom line and Saban's bottom line.

There's a darn good chance the Saints will not be in New Orleans much longer, Benson is on a par with the Devil and he will move the team soon IMO. Saban wouldn't go to a team that is morely to be moved than stay. He also would want to work with a good GM, not the idiots the Saints have.

yeah so how many great recruits did he have to work with at stanford OR notre dame? think about it. the enormous academic standards at both prevent their football teams from ever competing on a national level these days. so its incredibly difficult to assess how he would do with the friggin 8million blue-chippers waiting in the wings at LSU.

the only reason i brought his name up is b/c he is the only coach on the market right now who can match sabans discipline and player expectations. think about it. if he were to leave LSU tomorrow, who, thats available right now, would LSU pursue? if petrino goes anywhere, it'll be to ND. all that really leaves is butch davis, and i never like the idea of a coach coming back to the NCAA from the NFL. doesnt seem to work out very often (coughcallahancough).

let me pose the question again...who do you think LSU should/would pursue if saban were to leave?
