But not any home games and that is the talk. LSU will play this year but home games are out of the question until the important things are done first.
mabe I dont, even though in my opinion LSU will make it happen, mabe by sending 3000 to hospitals in Alanta and Dallas. The rest to little towns in between. My main concern is Police not using enough force to stop the thugs from acting like animals. tiger fans will be in risk of being robbed to and from stadium.
Well with my boys from 1st Cav and the MP units coming from Ft Hood there might not be many looters left. They may have guns, BUT THE ARMY HAS NVG's (Night Vision for the layman)
:angryfire o: Tell your boys to GIVE THOSE MOTHERF*CKERS HELL!!!o: :angryfire :usaflagwa :laflagwav :usaflagwa
THAT'S WHAT I'M A TALKIN' ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!! :usaflagwa :laflagwav :usaflagwa :laflagwav :usaflagwa :laflagwav :usaflagwa :laflagwav :usaflagwa
Not just in response to any "home games" or not being able to use Tiger Stadium, but in general, the LSU campus as a whole will not be allowed to become disrupted. What I mean by that is that the university has a commitment to keeping students safe and if their safety is compromised, by even a small percentage of the hurricane victims relocated to the LSU campus, look for the large number of displaced survivors to be relocated off campus. I can see using the PMAC and other various buildings on campus that are generally unused for the fall semester for those in need of medical attention, but the university (notice, I'm not saying the city of Baton Rouge--but the University) has a commitment to their students to ensure safety. If there are increased incidents where hurricane victims attempt to carjack students, or perform any other form of illegal activity (like has already been reported as happening near downtown and other "isolated areas") or attempt to get or take anything from students, then all of them will be relocated.
If Tulane plays, it will only because the team evacuated as a team. They are now living in Dallas at SMU as a team, and it looks to be long term. You know a lot of those kids families lost their homes and everything they had. My hearts go out to them. I am not gonna argue whether games should, or should not, be played in Tiger Stadium. I am gonna leave that to Miles, Skip, and O'Keefe. I believe they will look at what is best for LSU and for the state and region, and make a thoughtful decision. Whatever they decide, I will not criticize.
there have been Dallas residents going by Tulane's hotel today leaving gift cards, clothes, cash, food, etc to help them. apparently they have very limited clothing as they were not expecting to be gone from NO so long.
