I finally came to grips with that, but LSU playing EVERY game away is absolutely ridiculous... We'd either use USL's stadium or Independence... hell something, anything in LA.
I agree. There is no way we'd play 7 staright games away. We'd at least play somewhere close so it would be somewhat of a homefield advantage. We'd play somewhere in north Louisiana before we'd play at ASU.
I seriously doubt the athletic department could take such a financial hit and miss out on a year's revenue. The football program funds nearly everything other sport at LSU. Fox news.................
we are playing in Tiger Stadium or it will be a mass riot... it is not the people of BR's fault that this storm has happened..., and we with the players would be th eones being punished
Not to sound like I have a total disreguard for human life, or lack of heart for the displaced, but while I do agree that a game THIS weekend is too soon, the people of this state NEED some sort of positive force to uplift their spirits and I'm willing to bet that something trivial as an LSU football game would do the trick. If we have to forgo a FEW home games, then so be it....but any current "home game", if logistics claim in can't be played in Tiger Stadium, I say that it HAS to be played in Shreveport. Period. Nothing else that the Indy bowl and/or Tiger Stadium for home games should even be considered.
This is just another RUMOR like all the other BS we've heard all day. If the campus is safe enough for the students to return to classes, there is no way in hell we don't bust heads in TS next Saturday night.
And its the fault of the people that have lost their homes. And arent they being punished enough. (I am talking about the ones that are deserving of help not the *******s) As much as I bleed purple n gold, I would rather see tents set up in Tiger stadium to give these people someplace to stay, then a football game.
