No More Welcome To Death Valley sign? WTF???

    Rumor is that the new "Welcome to Death Valley" sign will be located on the scoreboard.

    Would the new design stop the "Welcome to Death Valley" sign from returning to its spot.

    I kinda liked looking at it where it was. I guess maybe it's time to "Roll with the changes".

    Goodbye my ass! Someone please give me the email address to raise some hell with. That sign is a part of Tiger Stadium. I dont care where they put it but it must say. I was sitting in my ISDS class when I read this and said "aw what the ****!" out loud while waiting for class to begin. This pisses me off :angryfire

    Lets bombard LSU with e-mails to keep the sign!!!!

    There is no room for it on the new deck design. The old sign was on a temporary press-box addition built over former lower bowl seats with a tall wall in front. The new deck starts right at the top of the old bowl. No wall to hang it on.

    The scoreboards this year already had Welcome to Death Valley in white writing on them. Like I said before I'd like to see like a Gate with a sign above that says Welcome to Death Valley right where the opposing team has to enter or maybe even that the visiting team's buses have to pass under.

    That sign is a symbol of LSU home games...

    Without it, somethign will be missing...

    I'm sure a new sign will be made and it will look GREAT
