the hell he didnt!! him and some other players planted the flag in the middle of the field and taunted the fans
The only way to solve this is to find him and kill him. ... or quit worrying about the unimportant stuff and move on.
I was there and saw him plant in in hte ground and even told the person next to me to lookat that. It wasn't there long but it was there.
I'll get my sister ( district attourney ) to run a background check on him, so who do we get, uncle Gambino??? :hihi: I heard he planted it so deep the Pmac shifted!
in 1982, we beat the noles to capture an orange bowl bid, awsome game everything clicked (55-24?). from what i recall the nole indian comes onto the field and stakes his spear on either an endzone or the field and mike the tiger grabs the spear and breaks it over his knee - the crowd went wild. i don't know if it was staged or not, but either way it was awesome. I think it was before the game but don't recall - freshman yr. had to listen to a frat guy play zz top on his boom box the whole game. those were the days.
I saw the guy plant the flag too. As several have said above, he fake planted it and then waved it. I didn't, however, see Clausen throw the ball into the stands. BTW, Clausen has come off like a little crybaby. He said to a reporter that he was considering leaving the team this week because Ainge was named starter.
Well it was a little revenge for Clausen because he was booed pretty good by the students when he came out to play. So a little taunting was OK but he could have been a better man about it.
