    I think I see what you are saying and yes. That is rare because who uses 6 pitchers in a game you are winning easily. Even more of a dick move by maneri.

    Bottom line there is nothing special about it imo. They should beat bottom feeders 27-0

    So what if they did?

    It would still be 1 win against a team they should have beaten handily, which they did. It's no big deal.

    I just enjoy the competition and especially when very rare feats occur. There are probably more than a 1000 so-called mis-matches in a given season but I sure don't recall any 27-0 no hitters in my lifetime.

    Exactly. That's why it's rarer. You don't pull a guy throwing a no hitter. Much less 5 of them. You leave him in. Using 6 midweek guys makes it almost impossible.
