I just find it hilarious that you call us out for being tigers, eagles, plainsmen and you have a name of Crimson Tide and an elephant in a costume as a mascot.

It's called irony, don't that teach that in Cullman High School English Class? Oh, yeah, all you took was "Shop".

Some of ya'll are getting kinda testy. Since you speak for all of LSU you probably should change your name to BayouJessieAlSharptonJackson.

Look up the definitiion of irony. You would be amazed at the number of Auburn engineers that have called me boss over the years.

Yeah, you hail from that technology hotbed of Cullman, Alabama.

C'mon, man, you are making it easy for me.

    i·ro·ny
    n. pl. i·ro·nies
    1. The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning.
    2. An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning.

An apt use of irony would be equate Auburn with a National Championship. That would be something that merited more than a hayride through downtown Opelika.
I don't understand your aparrent dislike for Cullman. I moved here 3 years ago after living in that sewer called Birmingham for 10 years.
Cullman is superior to B'ham in more ways than you can count. The only other city in Alabama that would rank lower than B'ham would be Montgomery.

dictionary.com is up and running, I see.

    Too bad spellchecker isn't.

The parade was through Auburn, jackleg.

Living in the actual sewers of Birmingham and Cullman is comparable. How's that cultural diversity program coming?

I would put Mobile below Birmingham.

    Otherwise, I agree!

That's not irony at all. More like a paradox, if you want to go with literary devices.
