Once the draft is done we will see how good this trade is. Up front, it can be very good. A great OC in the Pros is too valuable. Once Todd McClure left ATL. Took them a while to get the OL straight. Dallas has one of the better OL in the Pros. You have to protect your QB, if not, forget the season. Some talk of La'el, but the Saints of late have stayed away from the Tiger's. They have to do better in the draft, not just with the Seattle pick, but all picks.
ESPN reporting we've signed Brandon Browner to a 3-year deal. Ben Grubbs traded to the Chiefs for a 5th round pick. Saints now have 8 draft picks, including 3 of the first 45. This is key, I believe, because in recent years the team has traded a lot of picks for instant help that didn't pan out so much. You retool an old team through the draft, and the picks haven't been there to do that. nola.com also reporting Kenny Stills is being shopped around. Hope not; he's a star in the making, imo.
The word is that everyone except Brees and Cooks is up for the right price, which really isn't anything new if you know anything about Loomis. They has signed Brandon Browner to a contract just a few minutes ago, so the CB situation is looking a bit better.
