Looks like Donnovan went to the Nick Saban school of job flirtations and backing out antics... :dis: I thought having ONE character-plagued coach in college sports was enough (Saban)....
I want to start now saying sorry...this is going to be long! No from all accounts here it is his family This I believe as the problem but (even as a woman) ARE YOU FREAKING KINDDING ME!!! You married a coach!!! NEWS FLASH...You will move and you will move often!!!! She knew this when she married him, so don't act like this is the first you ever heard about moving the family! I agree he should be fined and it should be extravagent BUT you are right I will be curious what happens, because in the state of florida you have the right to get out of ANY contract woihin 3 days of signing it (may be nationwide but I don't know)! You are wrong here...he sure as hell signed the contract and from what I understand stood infront of the press conference saying that he did and couldn' wait to coach the Magic...He knew he had the roght to get out of it and used that to his ability. Don't let him step foot in front of me, him and Saban can date and have immoral kids together for all I care! I hope that the Gators fall on thier bootys for the next 10 years!!! Funny you say this...listening to the radio today one guy said...(can't directly quote it) but when does a coach have to start paying for his actions. You can not tell one team one thing and another team something else and get away with it. There should be and HAS to be reprocussions (sp?). this continues and nobody and no team will ever know where they stand in recruiting or free agency until the last minute and that is NOT fair! I am done with my rant and I know many will disagree but I have said my peace!

Yes onthis topic I am. I am so sick of dealing with the Magic's drama and Donovan's need for it drives me nuts! He has just made worse a franchise that was struggling before because he has the decision making skills of a 5 year old. If I was UF I would seriously be wondering about him and the stability that he can give a team and school.
Okay, so he didn't wait 2 years to do this. He did it in a few days. Does Billy qualifiy for the Coaches liars club?
He did sign a contract last Friday. Nice move by Orlando there. The Miami job should be opening in a few years and you know Donovan would have been a leading canidate.
